What is iTeach?

iTeach is the only nationally accredited online alternative teacher certification program that helps individuals who have a bachelor’s degree obtain a teaching license outside traditional pathways. At iteach, we certify teachers and prepare them to become excellent educators. Our coursework is online and has been created to remove barriers to teachers getting into the classroom.

How does iTeach support GISD staff?

iTeach not only will come out to Georgetown to present alternative certification sessions to degreed para professionals, teachers assistants, substitutes and community members that wish to teach but we also offer a full list of candidates to the district that are ready to teach.
