GISD SRO Team Receives Public Safety Award
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce holds quarterly Cornerstone Luncheons to better educate the community on the four cornerstones of our community: economic development, education, healthcare and public safety.
On August 25th at a public safety luncheon, the Georgetown ISD SRO (Security Resource Officer) team was named the Public Safety 2022 Cornerstone Award Winner.
The recipients of the award are: Officer Kandice Ellis, Officer Shannon Hall, Officer Robert Jones, Officer Rishiram “Richie” Ramjit Jr., Officer Rey Rodriguez, Officer Chris Saenz, and Sergeant Phillip Sanford.
Our SROs are dedicated to keeping the safety of our students, staff and schools a top priority. We are extremely proud of this well-deserved recognition for their service.
