GISD to Roll Out New Communication Platform

The district is launching a new mass communication platform designed to increase engagement among stakeholders, including GISD families. 

To help ensure that we can communicate with you in a timely manner, we're asking all parents to check their communication settings in Skyward. Check to be sure we have up-to-date contact information for:

  • parents and guardians (email and phone numbers)

  • emergency contacts (email and phone numbers)

  • providing a mobile number will allow for us to reach you via text about timely matters

  • the language spoken in your home. The new system will translate and deliver messages in the language of your choice and allow for 2-way communication.
