Stay engaged with GISD, your child's campus, teachers, coaches and more through the new ParentSquare app.
This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our campuses and our district. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
Send and receive school and class information
Receive attendance notifications and return doctor's notes
Send and receive text messages
Share pictures and files
and much more... all in one centralized place... and in your home language! ParentSquare will auto-translate in more than 100 languages.

All district and school, grade-level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text through ParentSquare. For even more convenience and the receipt of timely information, download the ParentSquare app for free on your Apple or Android device.
(Downloading the app is not required. If you choose not to utilize the app, messages will still be sent to your inbox and/or SMS number as recorded in Skyward.)
Need to update your contact information in Skyward? View this document. Contact information will be updated and synced within 48 hours.
Input your mobile number as your "Primary Number" in Skyward to receive text messages.
