    G-My Ride is a program funded by the GISD Education Foundation, where high school students can apply to have their cars repaired for free. Automotive programs at both high schools do the repairs and grant funds cover the cost of parts.   • Innovation is at the forefront of what we do. Our Maker Spaces and innovation centers feature state-of-the-art equipment that inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. Stop by to see a 3D printer in action along with student-created artifacts created for a variety of projects.

  • The drone program allows students to expand their engineering knowledge through both a class and after-school program. Students learn how to design, build and fly drones. Some have already earned their FAA Drone Pilot license. Come try the simulator or watch the drones in action.

  • Stop by the Maker Space to engage with students in the floral design program. Guests will have an opportunity to make and take a floral project of their own.
