GISD Students Receive Awards at Central Texas Art Competition

The 43rd Annual Central Texas Art Competition & Exhibition, coordinated by the Temple College Visual Arts Department, spotlighted high school and college student artists in the Central Texas area. The exhibition, which was open throughout November, featured inspiring and creative submissions from student participants.

The following students from GISD received awards for their work at the competition & exhibition:

Hannah McGlathery, “Ophelia” - Award of Excellence
Kate Smith, “Blue Illusions Triptych” - Award of Excellence
Chanelle Chavez, “Interpretation and Adaptation” - Honorable Mention
