Credit by Exam (CBE) is offered by Georgetown ISD for enrolled students in grades K - 12, free of charge. The purpose of CBE testing is for acceleration (students wishing to test out of a grade or course without having prior instruction), verification (verifying credit from homeschool or non-accredited private/public school), or recovery of credit for a course in which the student has had prior instruction.
