Georgetown ISD Announces New Executive Director of Support Services
The Georgetown Independent School District announced Clint Pruett as the new Executive Director of Support Services at a June board meeting.
Pruett comes to Georgetown ISD with 23 years of experience leading support services operations in public education. He has been serving as Director of Facilities and Construction for Dripping Springs ISD since 2017, overseeing construction, grounds, maintenance, custodial and energy management for the district. Before that, Pruett served as Executive Director of Business Services, Executive Director of Support Services, Director of Fiscal Affairs, and Energy Manager during his 16 years in Leander ISD. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Texas — Austin and completed a two-year pre-engineering program at Angelo State University.
In his new role, Pruett will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations of maintenance, nutrition services, transportation, energy management, facilities scheduling, and custodial services. He will collaborate with the construction and development team on the design and operations of all existing and future district facilities for GISD and be responsible for establishing, supporting and modeling a culture aligned to the GISD Strategic Framework, among other duties.
Pruett is passionate about the importance of public education and has a strong belief in servant leadership.
Pruett is married to his wife of 21 years, Nora, and together they have a 17-year-old son named Carson. In his spare time, Pruett enjoys traveling with family and friends and following Caron’s high school and travel baseball teams.
He will assume his new role in July.
