GISD Director of Fine Arts Named TFAA Representative

Georgetown ISD (GISD) Director of Fine Arts Carol Watson has been selected to serve as Texas Fine Arts Administrators (TFAA) Representative for the Central Texas area.

TFAA is an organization dedicated to empowering leaders in the Fine Arts educational community by providing conferences, workshops, and other resources for Fine Arts administrators across Texas. As one of six TFAA area representatives, Watson will serve as a bridge between the organization and Fine Arts educators in Central Texas.

“Central Texas has some of the best arts programs in the state, as well as some of the most supportive communities,” Watson said. “It is an honor to serve this group of talented Fine Arts Administrators and continue our work in advocacy and excellence in programming.”
