Trustees honored during School Board Recognition Month in January
January is School Board Recognition Month, and Georgetown ISD is celebrating its trustees for their dedication and commitment to the district and its students.
The theme of this year’s School Board Recognition Month is Leadership for Tomorrow’s Texas, which highlights the school board trustee’s commitment to creating meaningful educational experiences and opportunities that prepare students for college, careers, and beyond.
“School board trustees volunteer their time and knowledge to shape our schools and ensure every student receives a high-quality education,” said Superintendent Devin Padavil. “This month-long celebration is an opportunity to thank our trustees for their strong leadership and guidance.”
Throughout the month, campuses and departments will recognize the board through various events including a brief presentation at the start of the Jan. 21 board meeting.
