Georgetown ISD Celebrates Veterans Day on November 11

Georgetown ISD is excited to continue its tradition of celebrating Veterans Day this year on Monday, November 11. Campuses across the district have made plans to fill this special day with parades, performances, watch parties, and more.

The public is invited to attend the following celebrations:

All events will be held on November 11 unless stated otherwise. We encourage you to check back frequently as we continue to update this list.

Cooper Elementary Music Program and Inside Parade
9 am in the Cooper Elementary gym
*This event will be held on Nov. 8. 

Ford Elementary Performance & Recognition
8:30 am in the Ford Elementary Gym, followed by a parade in the bus lane

Purl Elementary 5th grade Music Program and Reception
9 am and 1:30 pm in the Purl Elementary cafeteria

San Gabriel Elementary Drive through Parade
9 am in the San Gabriel Elementary Car Line

Tippit Middle School Student & Community Assembly
10:30 am in the Tippit Middle School Gym

Georgetown High School Musical Performance and Staff Recognition
8-8:40 am in front of Georgetown High School 

Georgetown High School Sun City Veterans Day Program
11 am at the Sun City Social Center, 2 Texas Drive

Visitors to any campus for Veterans Day programs are encouraged to arrive early. All guests attending indoor activities are required to check in at the front desk and will need an ID.
